WHAT WE USE

We care for a variety of animals  and all of them need to be cared for and especially fed!  Below you will see where a large portion of where our limited funds are spent.

On average per month we purchase
170 tins of cat food - we use tins for the cats because they do not fight over the food and it is instantly consumed
500 kg (in 20 kilo sacks) dry dog food,
20 bags of litter
600kg (40 bales) of hay
10kg approx. for small animals, kittens and puppies
160 kig (in 40 kilo sacks) feed mixture for donkeys

You won't believe how much we go through in a month see below for details.  Your donation at the monthly carboot can help us, what we don't spend on food we can spend on improving facilities.

You can help us by  including any one of the above in your monthly shop, a couple of tins of cat food or a bag of dog food may not make much difference to your shopping bill but it makes a huge difference to us if a number of people did this every month.  Drop your donation at the Center or bring it to the Miranda do Corvo Carboot on the 1st Sunday of every month.
